Dan Murphy to Run for State Representative

Easton Patch picks up on Dan Murphy's candidacy:

Easton Selectman Dan Murphy (R-Easton) will officially be kicking off a campaign for State Rep in the 11th Plymouth District next month.

Murphy recently submitted the necessary signatures to qualify for the race, and said he plans to move forward as a candidate. His kickoff event is scheduled for June 13 at Easton Country Club.

Murphy said he decided to run after April 24's Easton Selectmen election when he and Colleen Corona were re-elected to the board. If elected as a State Representative in November, Murphy said he will stay on and continue to serve Easton as a Selectman.
